I saw that too. I think on Kenny the Pirate's site. Not the most devastating thing to be down. Way easier to handle for my family than BTMRR.

Oh...I agree. I DO love IASW and will always make the kids ride it each trip, but my 2 younger ones will be super upset about BTMRR. My 12 year old daughter is a non-thrill seeker...won't even do Splash! But, she LOVES BTMRR. She'll be the saddest....

I hope BTMMR is open at Disneyland for our May trip. At least we'll get a chance to ride it. But, I do like WDW's version better.

Disneylands just got a big upgrade I think you'll find it better than WDW.

I thought I had read Small World would be closed in Aug and Sept as well. I can't find it anywhere now. Am I crazy?

Small World refurb was cancelled unfortunately. It really needs the refurb too.

My daughter will be very happy as I was just able to change a fastpass for April 23 to BTMR. It is one of her favorite rides.

ATTENTION! lol. I just booked fast passes for BTMRR for my trip during the end of April. So I assume that confirms for sure the refurb has been pushed back

if this refurb is being pushed, do you think it means soarin and frozen ride are gonna be later than we had thought? maybe they didn't want to have soarin and btmrr down together for some of the summer?

I wish they would refurb it and use the carts on Mine Train. Big Thunder is so rough in the cart - the ride isn't very enjoyable.

That doesn't work with the theme of this ride. Mine train cars are designed from the movie.

I'm also bummed it will be closed for us in September but I dealt with POTC being closed last year..so I guess I can deal with BTMR being closed Lol.
