I don' think anyone is ever too old to ride Dumbo. I have to say I was a little worried that the new location wouldn't be as magical not being right by the castle, but I loved the new set up - being over the water makes it so much better and love that it has it's own area. Plus, the night rides are so different from the day ones

It is still on my bucket list to ride Dumbo at night, haven't gotten to do it yet!

Day 2 - MNSSHP!

Once we got off Splash Mountain, we scurried over to Tortuga Tavern to pick up our wristbands for MNSSHP. I wanted to get over to the Dwarves line by 5:30 and it was already after 5. We got our wristbands, map, and treat bags and headed back over to Fantasyland....where I could NOT find the dwarves line. I asked some CMs but none really had any idea. Finally I found the area where 2 other families were waiting. We ended up in line around 5:25 and we were the 3rd group! While Mom & Dad held our spot, I went to the bathroom to change into my shirt for MNSSHP We made friends with a lovely mom and her 2 kids, which made the time go fast! They said the dwarves would come out at 6:50 but it was definitely closer to 7 when they arrived. Ah they were SO cute, everything moved so fast but it was awesome! Mom's favorite is Dopey so she wanted to be sure to stand by him. I decided I would hang by Bashful and what a good choice! I asked if I could stand by him because he was my fave and he had the cutest "bashful" reaction. We took our photo and before we knew it it was over! I may have mentioned this in my PTR, but Mom LOVES Snow White & the Seven Dwarves. She was most excited for this greet and I think it definitely lived up to her expectations!

After that we went straight over to Princess Fairytale Hall. Rapunzel's side was 40 minutes and Cinderella's was 15 minutes. I decided to hit up Cindy's side as I knew I'd probably do Rapunzel on our second night. This was my first time in PFH and omg how beautiful it was! I love all the portraits and the regal feeling inside! Once inside we met Cinderella/Prince Charming and Aurora/Prince Philip. Both were lovely!

I think it was around 7:20 when we got out. We hit up the Pinocchio Village Haus treat spot (yummmm werthers!) before checking out the 2 magic shots in Liberty Square. We saw no line for the hitchiking ghost shot but the photographer was having some issues so we moved on to the Haunted Mansion carriage photo. There were a few families in front of us but it only took 5 or so minutes to get to the front. When we were done, the hitchiking ghost shot was working with no wait still, so we did that!

It was almost 7:45 so we headed to the castle to see the first villains show. The show was not too crowded and we got a spot right in the center to watch. So I know I've heard people say they aren't fans of this show but I absolutely LOVED it. I think it's a fun, perfect Halloween type show! (And my Disney withdrawals may have had me watching it on Youtube several times when I got home )

Once the show was over we got into Hook's line as that was the one villain Dad definitely wanted to meet and he wasn't sure if he'd stand around for the future shows we attended. We met him quickly and headed over to the Evil Queen's line. She was fantastic and we had great conversation with her. Though I don't remember exactly what I said to her (I think something about her being fabulous), she loved it so much she responded with a "say it louder!" and when I did she said "say it louder again!!". After that, the coordinater kept saying the villains only had a few minutes left. There was a short line for the Queen of Hearts so we decided to hop in line and hope we could meet her in time..and we did! Dad told her she looked beautiful and she started to caress his face, it was so funny! I was SO surprised and pleased that we got to meet 3 of the villains in one shot, considering how chaotic I've heard it can be! This definitely helped my touring plan alot!

After this it was around 8:10, so I crossed my fingers and headed to the Pooh line, which was one of the greets I was most nervous about. There was only about 3 other groups waiting for the 8:30 meet, which was perfect! The lovely Berlioz70 ended up in line right behind us, it was so nice to meet and talk to her and see her adorable baby!

Pooh & friends came out pretty much on time I believe. This meet was a little bit of a blur! Since there's 4 of them it's hard to say hi to them all in a short amount of time! I stood next to Eeyore and got hugs from Tigger and said a quick goodbye to Pooh & Piglet! They were so cute. Mom said this was one greet she was surprised at how much she loved!

So I could've SWORN our pics with Pooh & Friends was in our PP account but when the CD came it was not there. I checked our account and it's not there either. I'm a little bummed as we had a lot of missing pictures (which were all recovered!) but I guess I missed this one

After that we walked over to Tomorrowland to see if Boo was out at the dance party. I introduced Monsters Inc to my mom a few months before our trip and she became obsessed (obviously) and we both love Boo! Unfortunately no luck We did spot Mike though!

We moved on and checked out the Space Mountain and Speedway treat spots. Space Mountain gave out Monsters Inc gummies that were delish and came in handy later in the night Dad especially loved these and *spoiler alert* demanded we hit up the spot again on our 2nd night! We then did the trail from TL to FL. After arriving in FL I made a quick stop at the gift shop to buy some pins. They only had the mystery boxes, so I bought 2. I was very excited for these pins since they were Nightmare Before Christmas themed! I opened up Box #1...and I got the 2 chaser pins. I eventually realized these are rare and I should be happy! But imagine when I opened Box #2 and got the SAME thing! The boxes must've been from the same batch. I was a little dissapointed at first as all I really wanted were the regular pins and this meant I would have to buy more boxes to get them!

It was around 9 now, so we headed to Main Street to find a spot to watch Celebrate the Magic & Hallowishes.

I cannot believe how much you got done in the first few hours of your party! I think the one we went to must have been more crowded. We couldn't even get anywhere near the villains to meet any of them. Well we did get Frollo but no one ever seems to want to meet him.

Ahhh the 7 Dwarfs photo is surely a precious commodity! I'd forgotten they moved the location.

I thought the Villains show was ok too (though I still have no idea what it's about, lol) but WOW is it ever short. Certainly the highlight is the meets afterwards.

And speaking of meets, WOW, you guys are seriously burning up the party. I am shocked you were able to meet the amount of characters you did. Clearly your strategy worked. Very impressive!

I'm quite surprised myself! This party was definitely not as crowded, especially comparing it to my 2nd party night which was sold out.

I always noticed that Cindy's line was short than Rapunzel's so you should be able to do both sides!

Day 2 - More MNSSHP!

We got to Main Street and found a great spot to watch. Celebrate the Magic was so cool and Hallowishes was stunning We were all blown away by how awesome it was! We were even able to get some PP during it too!

After that, we headed over to Liberty Square to find a spot for the parade. We found a great spot across from Hall of Presidents, in front of the Christmas Shoppe. Mom and Dad held our spot while I ran over to the pin store in Frontierland to grab the Halloween Party pins and another mystery pin box. This time I finally got character ones! I tried to buy some water and popcorn from the popcorn cart in Liberty Square. The line was long and I waited about 10 minutes without even moving so I gave up (Good thing for those Monsters Inc gummies ).

After some waiting, the headless horseman came riding down (so cool!) and the parade started shortly after. Now prepare for parade picture overload!

I loved it so much!! At the end of the parade when they give out candy we ended up getting SO many lollipops too!

Once the parade was over, we headed back towards the castle. We stopped at Sleepy Hollow to grab something to drink and my dad decided to sit at a table and wait for us while we attended the last Villain show of the night. My goal was to meet Maleficent at this show. When we got there, there was already a small line forming for her, so we stood in line as well and watched the show from there. I was so happy to be seeing the show yet again! Once it was over the line moved quickly and we finally met Maleficent! Ahh she was perfect and the meet was exactly what I hoped it would be!

Mom really wanted to meet Dr. Facilier (and of course I wanted to too!) so we hopped in his line and hoped we'd have time to meet him before he left. The coordinator said they'd only be out for 2 more minutes and the family that was currently with him was taking forever, but luckily they finished and everyone moved quickly enough so we got to meet him! He was awesome

We grabbed dad and decided to call it a night. We were all really tired from such a long day. Of course we got our Peeps before heading to the bus stop! I don't think we waited too long for a bus and we all pretty much passed out once we got to the hotel. I guess 15 hours at MK will do that to you I was super pleased with my first MNSSHP (and our first day in the parks!) and the fact that I got everything I wanted to do that night accomplished!

Man, y'all certainly have gotten a lot accomplished at the party so far! Pretty impressive that you were able to meet 3 villains after the show too. That was one of the things on my list that we just didn't end up having time to do, but we still had a great party. Lucky you that you still had another one to look forward to!

I know, isn't Hallowishes amazing???? Especially for those who've never seen the perimeter fireworks before. So cool. And you got photos with the fireworks going off!!!!! Super cool!!!

Boo To You is easily my favourite parade ever, Disney or otherwise. So good!

I loved meeting Maleficent too. I never got to meet Dr. Facilier though, but he has to be one of the neatest characters to meet. He's HUGE!!
