We were scheduled to go northwest but cancelled due to the snow. And from what I can see, we made the right decision. By early afternoon there was enough slippery stuff on the roads to have made that choice a dangerous one.

Instead, we went to a friend's home and had a very pleasant, happy holiday!

How about you?

Morning Gina...no change in plans, but we only got a dusting and plenty of rain.

Glad to hear you had a good day with your friends, Gina. We didn't have much snow here at all, but we did have sleet. Fortunately I didn't have to drive further than a mile to visit my family so weather didn't change my plans. I hope that all who did have to change plans were able to have a good time with whatever the alternate was :)

Mother & 2 brothers were due to drive to central/southern MA Christmas Day. They postponed till Sunday.

DH, DS10 and myself spent a very quiet day.

Luckily there wasn't enough snow here to make any impact on our plans. We didn't have far to drive though, only about 2 or 3 miles.

and balmy weather here in Tampa, FL. Didn't have anywhere to go anyway and had a nice, quiet, Christmas Day watching movie rentals -- "Panic Room" and "MIB II" -- both good. Nice ham dinner and back to work today:(

Our Christmas Day meal has been postponed until Sunday due to weather. We would have gotten to where we needed to go but leaving would have been a big problem.

Not really a change of plans.. but we did send the family home earlier than we would have normally... had the snow not been flying.. but we did get our dinner in and a good time was had by all...

No changes - but did leave earlier than planned which was good - since I got a nap in ;)

No big change, just a small one. We got a dusting of snow and the roads were a bit slick so rather than my parents driving out here (10 miles), my DH drove into town to pick them up and took them back home later. They appreciated not having to drive on the slippery roads.

Hope your White Christmas was nice after all and that you had a great time wherever you celebrated.

Out here in Vegas it was cold (low in the 20's) but no snow.

Hope I can find my car when I get back tonight. (Nothing like getting in late and wandering Newark's parking lots looking for a recognisable shape in the snow ... LOL).

Happy post-holiday celebrations!
