This is my first Easter trip in two years. With FP+ we did so much less than we ever had previously because it was use the 3 FP+ and then leave the park but at least I never had a problem getting everything I wanted for ADR's but not this trip.

Every morning at 180 days out I booked my ADR's and BOG, Le Cellier and California Grill did not have any thing or had 8:40 PM times. If they are filled with resort guests prior to 180 days I shudder to think how crowded it going to be this trip.

Thank goodness I didn't have my heart set on these. I still feel like WDW only wants first time guests.

Now I have to get up every morning and check for Fantasmic! package openings because they aren't up on the calendar. If my sister didn't want to take one last trip before our kids go to college I wouldn't go near WDW at Easter.

What was your opening day to book? My day was this past Tuesday and I was still able to get my ADRs which was surprising because I assumed most people would be checking in on the Saturday right before Easter and would have taken all the ADRs already.

You were booking 180+10 correct? I am staying at the S&D so I had to get online every morning at 6AM for the past 6 days. The ADR's were gone by the time they opened for non-resort guests at exactly 180 which has never happened to me before.

You might want to see if Le Cellier will work for you at lunch time. I always see available during the day, and the menu is basically the same.

Also, just keep checking. We have been able to move many things around as we got closer.

We are there at the same time and staying off property. We are on the west coast, so by the time I remember to check it has been about Noon-2pm Florida time. I have gotten BoG and Cali Grill at around 7 or 7:30pm on 2 different nights - and seen other biggies like CRT. I was thinking it was because of the C&D - we went Easter week is year and struggled to get anything at 180 days out....Now I am wondering if some people release things after a few hours contemplation and tweaking?

There is 11 of us. I book two sets of reservations within 10 minutes of each other.

Having lunch at fine dining restaurants is usually a wonderful way to check out something pricey without breaking the bank. It is one of our favorite things to do while traveling however, Le Cellier had the exact same menu for lunch and dinner and the exact same prices.

Yes, I was booking 180+ but still able to get California Grill on Easter Sunday which would have been open to everyone for booking on the date my 180+ opened. But I do understand about not having the 180+ option as we have stayed both on and off property before. And even when making the BOG reservation, we just kept throwing back times until an earlier time popped up we were able to grab. Many people tweak their reservations within the 1st couple of days.

Weird. Hate that you're having bad luck, OP :-(

People swore when the scalper and bot sites were shut down that we'd see TONS of reservations just waiting to be taken. Guess they were wrong. Huh.

Since they started putting CC holds on all reservations it really did open up tremendously. Prior to that it was impossible to get some of the most popular restaurants at all. It is just extraordinarily busy this week so there you go. I really haven't eaten in Le Cellier in awhile but we always did with my sisters family so that is why it was on our list now. After I got served "seasonal risotto" instead of the mushroom I was expecting we never went back.

I think they'll open up piece by piece as those sites cancel their reservations before having to pay the no-show fee. Those sites still have no incentive to release all those reservations at once. They'll hang on to them just in case they somehow get to re-open. Just last night I was able to book four decent reservations that I had not been able to get before (and one was a Fantasmic package, and another was Cape May breakfast). I also saw a Garden Grill and Chef Mickey open up. All of that happened yesterday, and I have been checking multiple times a day for several weeks and never gotten one thing during all that time. Something's up.

What sites are you referring to? PM me if you can't type it out.
