Did I screw up??

We made our first reservations to WDW a little over a month ago (we haven't been on a vacation for three years!!! We're due!). I didn't know about codes or anything until I found this site....now I'm reading EVERYTHING there is to know about planning a trip to WDW. That being said... I booked the Magic Your Way Package for 4 nights, with dining, and two day park tickets. I've read people saying that they just book room only to take advantage of the package deal codes that come out. So if the codes come out are they any good for me or did I screw up by reserving a full package?

You can make changes to your pkg. without it costing you (add code) as long as your outside your 45 day window to do so!! I check in on 10/12 and we have 74 days so you are fine. Welcome to these boards and happy planning !!
