We will be staying at PORS and we have ADRs for 199 park one morning. I planed on going to MK by bus and the taking the monorail to GF. Is that the best way to do it. The kids want to ride the monorail and I thought it might be a little faster than bus. Also ( this may be stupid, but I do not want to mess up) will the monorail make all the stops or should I ask before we get on if it is going to the GF. I would hate to catch a ride only to find out we missed our ADR because we took the wrong one.

Yes you should take the bus to MK and then get on the resort monorail (the last stop will be the GF). There is also a boat that goes from the MK to GF/Poly. There are only two monorail choices at MK (resort and express) so you should be fine getting the correct one.

Just allow plenty of time and you will be fine.

There is no bus that goes from PO to GF so this will be your most efficient way to travel by Disney transportation.

The absolute quickest way would be taxi.

Yes, the buses don't go hotel to hotel. So you need to take it to an attraction or Downtown Disney then transfer. When you get to MK, make sure that you take the resort monorail, not the one to the transportation/transfer station

Everything is going to depend on time. What time is your ADR? What time does MK open that morning?

First, there is no direct bus service between resorts. So you'll need to go to a theme park. MK is the most logical one.

So you catch the bus to MK and then you have two options... (resort) monorail to the GF, which will include stops at the Contemporary, TTC, and Poly before getting to the GF. Or you can catch a motor launch (boat) to the GF (docks are between the bus unloading and the monorail platform anyway). I suggest taking the launch to the GF, then monorail back to MK after your meal.

Your other option is to call a cab to get from POR to GF.

Thanks, I have never taken the monorail to a resort and knowing what ot look for and expect makes me feel so much better. Thanks again.
