Did I mess up???-SWA advice

If anyone can help me out I'd really appreciate it...
We have been patiently waiting on fares to open up for February 08, so today when they opened up I bought 4 one way refundable anytime tickets to Orlando at $144/each. I didn't buy our return flights yet, because I figured I would get a Ding( on our outgoing flights) as the time drew closer to leaving and would apply the credit to our return flights. Did I do the right thing??? We don't fly that often and really could use some advice...

Buy all now while you can. You can apply the Ding discount later without loosing your reservation. Question... why aren't you buying internet fares?

We are flying out of New Orleans... there were no internet rates ,only rates avaliable were refundable anytime... do you think the internet rates will come out later??? So I should book the return flights out of Orlando??? they had internet rates at $99. Thanks for your help...

If you really bought "refundable anytime" tickets, then you have nothing to worry about. you can GET YOUR MONEY BACK, not just a "credit", anytime you change your mind.

What dates are you traveling? If you don't book the return internet rate now, it will sell out and you will pay a higher rate later. They only sell a certain number of tickets at each rate. The Ding fares are only offered if they can't fill the plane.
