Did I mess up my application?

I just applied for the DCP Spring 14. When I was asked what roles I was interested, I put highly interested for all of them. Honestly, Im super interested in the program and any role is okay with me. Although, there are certain roles that I'd definitely prefer. Does putting highly interested in all roles hurt my chances of getting in the program? I applied an hour ago and I have not even gotten a Thank You email yet....

I finally got the thank you e-mail and a few minutes later, the WBI and i passed!!! Waiting to schedule the phone interview now.

How was the web based interview? I haven't seen much about it and I'm extremely nervous. I thought I'd get an email when the applications were open and I didn't, just randomly decided to check and they were open. That was a shocking moment!

I think I'm going to do it on Saturday because I'm busy with classes tomorrow and want to take it in the library so I can do it in a calm setting.

I just passed the WBI. The most important thing is to be in a quiet place where you will not be distracted. Also, read the question aloud to yourself before answering. Take your time!! I did not feel rushed on the timed sections. 50 secs and 20 secs are more than enough to answer.

Timed by question, however, there is no actual timer that you see.

You will have 50 seconds to answer each question in one section

20 sec. in the last section.

Are there write-in responses? I heard it was mostly agree/disagree type multiple choice questions, but not sure if that's all! Any help would be so greatly appreciated.

It's entirely multiple choice, with the 20 second section being a range of agree/disagree.

I applied at 3:30, received my "thank you" email at 6:30, my WBI email at 7:30 (which took me ~15 minutes to complete), then finally received my phone interview email at 8:40.

We just received the "thank you"email about 3 hours after completing the application. WBI tomorrow morning :-/

There are some roles that I just don't want to do. However there are also some that I am incapable of doing. Those were my no interest ones. However I'm planning on showing some more interest in it on te phone

I heard that the WBI doesn't work with certain Internet browsers, I use safari and have a Mac and I heard that at least at one point the application didn't work with those. Is that true?

I did my WBI yesterday on an old Macbook with Safari and passed. Should work. I have read in past couple of years that macs were a problem, but apparently not anymore.

The web-based interview is compatible with all of the major browsers. The outcome of the interview is a result of the responses given and not by one’s choice of browser.

Be sure to allow about 40 minutes to complete the web-based interview. Some questions will be multiple-choice. Other questions will ask you to rate items on a 1-to-5 scale. Read each question carefully and select the response that best describes you.​
