Edit - This is my first post on DISboards...
OK, just booked a trip for my anniversary for the end of August before my wife goes back to school (she's a teacher) on the southwest website.
I feel like we got a pretty darned good deal but I was hoping to see what everyone honestly thinks (too late now, anyway!). I got it on SWA Vacations and it seemed like the best deal I could scrap together and I looked at a lot of different combinations and options (or so I think).
This is the breakdown per the confirmation from SWA Vacations.
Roundtrip Airfare and Hotel = $883.20
(Manchester, NH to Orlando, FL - nonstop both ways)
(AS Sports - 6 nights with Free Disney Dining Plan)
7 day Magic Your Way w/ Hopping Pass = $510
Travel Protection = $40
Total trip for two = $1433.20
When I do out the math, perhaps incorrectly, but if I use normal Disney pricing, I get the flights at about $353 RT. Not bad at $176.50 per person RT from Manchester. If I waited for a ding, assuming $75 would be the best I could get, I don't think it would have made THAT much of a difference, right?
Either way, I'm going for a week and I'm pretty stoked!!!!!!!!!
The cool thing is that the flights were very flexible and all nonstop on their website, and all of the flights were the same price (it said $0 additional cost). So I'll be getting into Orlando at 10 am on the 23rd and I'll be leaving at 9 pm. So I will be making the most of my 7 day hopper pass!
