Purely speculation... but I noticed this in the story for the new bar and eatery, Baseline Tap House:
Baseline Tap House opened today on Grand Avenue at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, in storyline, an abandoned L.A. printing company that once worked with the Walt Disney Studios in the 1950’s.
I found this interesting and feel like it could work for Hollywood Studios. Walt Disney Studios has a nice name to it. I'm not sure if I'd rather it be a studio and you're walking across different movie sets, or do a story where you're on a working set or in Hollywood near Walt Disney Studio and there will be portals into different movie universes (Toy Story and Star Wars). I think the latter works. Have the main portion of DHS be a studio or location based in Hollywood—real Hollywood. The Tower Hotel could be the famous hotel you can stay at; Rock 'n' Roller Coaster remains the record studio; revamp the stores to be more modern Hollywood (have a Rodeo Drive area with higher-end Disney merchandise—like the non-Disney-looking brand they made for men; then have this area be the bar and street that sucks you into the movie.
Just an idea..
