Did Disney drop the MGM name???

I was watching the new vacation DVD the other day and when they got to Disney/MGM Studios, they only referred it to Disney Studios. They even showed the entrance sign and it only said Disney Studios.
How long has it been this way?

Disney has refered to the Disney-MGM Studios as "The Disney Studios" in their planning videos for quite a few years now. I'm not sure about the reasoning or the legalities of it, but the park is still the Disney-MGM Studios. (Just not in the promotional videos... )

It really depends on which month you ask Disney. They have been talking about dropping the MGM for about 5 years now.

The sign itself still displays the MGM name. The vacation video/DVD was retouched to remove the "MGM" portion.
