Did anyone watch Rock Star: INXS last night?

I talked to my cousin over the weekend and he got to meet all the contestants at a party after the finale. He said that the nicest ones were Mig, Marty, Jordis, and Brandon. He and Jessica are going to be coming over one day soon so I'll talk to her more about the show then.

We Will Rock You is still playing in London so I guess they replaced Mig. Oh well...

Ty did seem like he was made for the stage. I just hate his comment about his race.

I thought that Mig & Marty would be really nice. Jordis is such a cutie and also seems nice.

I hope all of them do well and get contracts. I would definitely buy several of their CD's.

Don't know if anyone is still reading this thread -- but I was flying SOuthwest to Orlando last Friday and there was an ad for "We Will Rock You" from Vegas ... and Ty was in the picture!!! Was this tidbit of information known? I don't remember it being stated on Rockstar:INXS, just that Ty was performing in Vegas????

INXS just released Pretty Vegas on IPOD. My DH downloaded it for me.

I'm not sure about it. It's a lot softer than what JD did on stage with the house band and they've changed it a little. I think I like the down and dirty JD better.

I posted an earlier post - they dont want ot move on..this is why Jon Stevens quitm he was there to help them, toured etc but the band wouldn;t move on and well, he got sick of it.....

I bought it on Tuesday and I really like it. I was only a so-so INXS fan before. I liked the songs on teh radio but didn't have any cds or so I thought. When I went to look Tuesday in the cd rack I do have Listen Like Thieves but anyway. The new one is pretty good and Target had a great price of 9.98.

I wish I had bought mine at Target, I bought it for $14.88 at Walmart. I finally listened to it, I thought it was ok. I liked the final track the best "God's top ten" (out of the songs that I had never heard before). Anyone going to see them in concert? I have tickets for Feb 10 in Boston.

It really has been growing on me. For whatever reason I like Afterglow. Its a weird song but I like it. I didn't know that Suzie was singing on the cd so when I heard her voice I had to look and see who it was.

That's funny, I didn't realize that it was Susie singing the feature vocals on "God's top ten", no wonder I liked that one.

I finally got the CD and I think it is very good. I think it's pretty cool that they had Suzie do lead vocals for a song and she and Deanna also did background vocals.


Today at Walmart I found a Rock Star: INXS DVD. It was only $10 so I had to get it! I has a bunch of performances and a lot of never before seen stuff. Very cool.
