Did anyone here do the Spring 07 CP?

This might sound like a really lame question, but if you did the CP in Spring of 07, what was it like being in WDW during (or leading up to) the release of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End?

The fact that the fourth movie is coming out Spring 2011 is reeeeally making me consider applying for Spring rather than Fall because I'm the biggest Pirates fan, lol. Obviously the ideal place to work is DL but I can't do that and I figure WDW would be big on the Pirates-related festivities too.

Can anyone give me any information about it?

It's been a few years, but if I remember correctly, there wasn't very much in the way of POTC festivities out at WDW. DLR got most of it (I do remember free pizza for those of us working the night of the premiere, lol).

I'd imagine there be something à la what was done for Princess and the Frog, but the premiere is almost certain to be in California, if just for convenience's sake.

I did FA 07, so I was down here for both the movie and dvd release of Pirates. I had to work the night the movie was released and they didn't do anything special for us at all. The night of the dvd release however, the store I was working in (world of disney) had an early morning event for the release. It included freebies and meet and greet oppertunities with captain jack. People started lining up at about 5pm the night before the 6am event.
This year for Alice my work location and several others are doing group trips to the midnight premier. It will depend a lot on your managers if antyhign will be done in your location or not.

I don't remember anything special either. Of course, I worked 'underground' and I only dressed Captain Jack! lol

I did my program Spring 2007 and don't remember any special attention given to the POTC release, although that was when they debuted the Pirate & Princess Parties in WDW.
