Did anyone else hear this?

We were outside at the Beach Club today around 2:00pm and we heard horrible screaming from (what sounded like) the Boardwalk from across the lake. It was disturbing. We almost called the police but we couldn’t see where it was coming from.
It went on for several minutes - we heard sirens - and then it started downpouring so the group of us who heard ran inside. Did anyone else hear this?? Was just curious if anyone knew what happened because it was really unsettling.

If it was around 2:15 I’m sure it was! There were a ton. But I’m starting to feel crazy. I haven’t heard/seen anything about it anywhere

That's because it din't happen. The nice men in black suits and dark sunglasses will be visiting you shortly to make sure you know nothing. Rumor has it Disney contracts with Universal for some of their team members to provide this service.

This was different. This sounded like a man attacking a woman. He was yelling awful things. I don’t mean to get too into it.. but neither my husband or I have gotten her screams out of our heads.

Oh wow that takes what I had in my head in a totally new direction. I assumed there was an accident of some kind. I hope she is ok.

I know how you feel. A few years back my husband and I were getting ready to head to the parks in our lake view BWI room when I heard the most blood curdling screams from the boardwalk. I looked out to see a woman had fallen on the boardwalk and from the horrible angle of her leg you could just tell it was broken. Someone quickly came to her aid and soon there was the sounds of sirens but for some crazy reason they wouldn't let the ambulance out onto the boardwalk so the EMT's had to put her onto a body board and then onto a stretcher. I always wondered how everything turned out.

Though I have to say yours sounds much worse. Disney is very good at pretending these things don't happen so unless someone was actually right there and saw what happened and then see's your question here on the boards I doubt you'll ever know.

Yes it was an overly zealous Lyft driver that was trying to take a shortcut from the driveway at the WL to rush a guest to HS to get a RoTR BG (this last part is made up about the BG but the rest is true).
