The Crop Shoppe in Jacksonville, FL started their Black Friday sale yesterday at 10 am. I was waiting for the doors to open. Never got more than 15 feet from the door and still managed to spend $233. Bought the Revolution, for $40, but then of course had to buy an alphabet, and the 12 inch plate. Also, some clear stamps 50% off, inks, Basic Grey Calendar kit 30% off, and the entire Sharon Ann Christmas Magic collection which I had been hunting for. Came right back to the hotel and played with my new stuff!

If you're in the area, they also had the qk squeeze for $20 with an alphabet, and grab bags with the list of items on the front $120 worth for $30. Tons of Christmas - there must have been 8 -10 different lines. I LOVE that store.

So glad that you had a great shopping trip, only wish I had been there too. Just a few more days til your big cruise. Happy Thanksgiving Linda.

I wish I were shopping with you! Sounds like you got many nice things. Wish I were on the cruise too. Have a great time!!

Is this store far off the I-95? I love visting scrapbook stores along the drive to WDW.

Elaine, I think it is about 5 miles from I-95. You would get off I-95 at the Old St. Augustine Rd. exit. Do you take 295 around the city when you come down or do you go on 95 through Jacksonville? Old St. Augustine road has an exit off both 295 and 95. 295 is closer to the shop. The store does have a web site cropshoppejax.com

We usually just take the I-95 straight through Jacksonville....thanks for the info on the website...I will check it out.

woo hoo...I just visited the website and they had information on directions so I put in the address of the hotel we are staying at in Brunswick GA and the scrapbook shop is only 1 hr and 19 min away...then when we leave the scrapbook store...we will only be 2 hr and 18 minutes away from the Pop Century Resort...I can't wait....it looks like we'll be adding another stop to our driving itinerary in May!!!!!

You will post the recipe for that Kronk Kooler, yes?

pretty in tink just happened to do that recipe for a Disney Recipe Swap, and she did it on my computer, so here's the recipe:

Konk Kooler
Castaway Cay

½ ounce dark rum
¾ ounce light rum
1 ounce passion fruit juice
1 ounce pina colada mix
1 ounce orange juice

Place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Serve in a tall glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a wedge of tropical fruit.

Even better, I would say 'slushy' it with the crushed ice in a blender. Ummmmmmm.
