We are headed to Disney in Sept, so obviously our 7yoDD twins are excited with extension of Frozen activities. We are scheduled to be at DHS on a Monday, but are reevaluating.

Seems like only thing we would miss by not being there on the weekend is Frozen Fireworks. What makes the show Frozen?

-I wonder if kids will be just as satisfied with Wishes and Illuminations and we will probably see MNSSHP fireworks show

advice?

The Frozen characters are onstage during the fireworks. Wdwmagic.com has a great video which incorporates the stage show and fireworks view:

Disney Parks Blog has a small but accurate description of the Frozen fireworks. The display is set to the soundtrack, the finale being "Let It Go", and it sounds like a fantastic show. As a sidenote, if you're going to MNSSHP definitely watch HalloWishes. It is, hands down, the best fireworks display Disney has.

thanks guys. I should have known to check youtube first. Looks like a great show. Will let DW see and decide if we should switch things up

The fireworks are very pretty and colorful. We've enjoyed watching from the balcony of our apartment in Celebration every night. I can only imagine how much they're enhanced with the music. My daughter is thrilled that they've been extended!

Is it possible to see Fantasmic and the Frozen fireworks on the same night? Where is the theater that's posted in the link? Is it Beauty and the Beast?

This might sound silly but is it possible to see the Frozen fireworks from outside the park? (Wishes can be seen from some of the beaches with the music piped in.)

I'm asking because we're going in September so are thrilled the Frozen has been extended but our schedule has us going on a Thursday so the fireworks are not scheduled. I'm trying to decide if it's really worth it to extend our passes by a day purely to see a fire works display?

Any thoughts from those who have seen this?

We saw them last night up close, and thought they were wonderful! However, tonight they started while we were waiting for the bus. The bus stop for Pop Century has a great view. The music is very quiet though. We could hear it a little. My niece heard it better than me.

Could you do something else Thursday, like swim/hang out at the resort or a nonpark thing? And then go to HS on Friday still without having an extra day on your tickets?

There is a walkway between the Boardwalk and DHS, great view from there.

Thank you!! I would easily consider switching days if it was just my DD and myself but our DHS day is booked with 2 other families and it's the only day we've planned to all be together.

It's good to know there might be some options to us. We'll be staying at Pop Century and might try the bus stop option.

LOL - Who am I kidding? Unless we're totally pooped after our day at Blizzard Beach on the Friday I can see me going to DHS in the evening and then the next day adding a day to our park tickets. :)

You can get a great view from the walkway that leads from DHS to the Boardwalk... that's where the wdwmagic video was taken.

Along the plum-colored pathway inside the area that I shaded in green on the map below.
