DHS December, 2009 - UPDATE: Dinner problem solved

I am just curious due to my inability to book anything for my DHS night if I am alone in my frustration or if Disney has a glitch in their system. TIA for your responses.

Personally, I would love to book anything for dinner after 4:00 pm at Mama Melrose on 12/07/09, but have been unsuccessful. I have attempted to book any/all of the other TS restaurants in DHS that same night and have been locked out too. I tried to book this at my 90+10 mark and every day since. Maggie

I tried to book 50's Prime Time Cafe for dinner on Nov 30 and wasn't able to. I was able to get a table at 3:30, which is a little early for dinner but I took it anyway. I guess will get a snack latter if we get hungry. The CM I talked to told me it was because they had released the Fantasmic hours and most people were trying to get a table for that so all the dinner resies were gone.

I just booked Mama Melrose for 5:25 on 12/15

I was able to get a table for 6 at Brown Derby at 7:35 on 12/8.

I got 50's Prime Time at 5 during the 5-12th. Can't remember exactly which day. I also was able to get into Sci Fi for dinner too, turned that one down when I realized you could be seated with other people. I had never heard that before. Never eaten there before. Good luck!

I got Mama Melrose on Tuesday 12/15 at 5:00. I wanted a little earlier DINNER, but when I called yesterday/Saturday to check on when dinner time started in December, they said 5:00.

I have not been able to get MM for anything past 3:20PM. Looking on 12/4 or 12/5. The CM said to try back later as later times open when you get closer (this use to be true in the past). I'm trying for a non-F night and tried during my 90+10. I keep trying back, but right now I've got a 3:20PM and I check regularly.

Yes, the car holds 6 people (3 rows of seats). If you are a party of 4, they will put a party of 2 in the back seat. We are a party of 2 and have sat in the back seat of others' cars many times. We usually tell them that the driver is paying our bill when the check comes.

Ditto here with Dec 11. I booked 50's at 7:10 but I really wanted 6 or so. The next earliest time available was 3:30 PM. Other HS options popped up closer to my desired dinner time though, but I didn't want them.

Just keep trying, just keep trying. . .

I think your problem is 12/7. I am guessing that on that date, the park will be closing early for a private event. We have at least one other thread from a poster unable to book a dinner after 4 PM anywhere for that particular date at DHS.

We have Sci-Fi at 4:30 (dec 5) and 50's Prime Time at 4:30 (dec 8)

Ok, I gave up. I swapped out DHS and Epcot days within our itinerary. I was able to secure Tutto Italia again and finally get Mama Melrose.

While I am not thrilled about going to DHS on a F! night, I am happy to be getting the TS meal planned that my partner specifically asked for to make this trip more special/perfect for her.
