When we did Animation Academy years ago at DisneyQuest, it was done electronically on a computer screen and then you could purchase a print-out of your drawing.
Does the Animation Academy at DHS work the same way?
The reason I ask is that we did Animation Academy at Disneyland Paris on our last visit and they handed out paper and pencils. I actually liked it a lot better because I like to draw and it was more natural than using a stylus on a computer screen. You also got to keep your drawing without having to purchase it.
We did two back-to-back sessions, drawing Mickey and Donald. Here are my finished drawings:
