Dh Says No Way...

My DH actually suggested our firt trip to Disney 3 years ago. My kids were 7 & 9 and were the only kids in their classes who had never been to Disney. I thought, oh well, if he really wants to go. I thought it would be horrible, because all I heard was that WDW was hot and crowded. I hate crowds and I thought Disney had to be worse that even that coveted 2" x 2" spot on Rehobeth Beach, DE in the middle of July.

I was so wrong. Now I am a Disney-holic, like everyone else on these boards. I actually can't think of too many vacations were you get the same bang for your buck. Gee - spend $2000 to rent a beach house or $2000 to go to Disney. Pretty much a no brainer to me.

So, I am the perfect example of someone who thought they would dislike Disney and ended up loving it and the entire Orlando area. But there is truely a magic about Disney that is unsurpassed. Ironically, my DS (10) is very fascinated by Walt Disney. He loved the One Man's Dream exhibit at DS and just choose Walt Disney for his summer reading biography.

So anything is possible and anyone can turn into a convert if they approach the trip with the right frame of mind.
