The National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences holds its EMMY awards ceremony tonight, June 11.

My DH is nominated for 2:
Sports – Regularly Scheduled Daily or Weekly Program
Community/Public Service (PSAs) – Single Spot

DH has won one Emmy in the past (2001) as well as dozens of other awards you probably never heard of. Well, maybe you've heard of the Sundance Film Festival Filmmakers Award.

Yes, he did win.

The "Ravens Report" TV show won in the daily or weekly sports category. (It's a show about the Baltimore Ravens NFL team.)

And "Follow Your Nose" won in the PSA category. It's a 30-sec public service announcement from BGE (Baltimore Gas & Electric) that tells kids how to recognize natural gas and what to do if they smell it.

Congrats to your husband! What does he do (ie a producer, photographer, editor, reporter etc)? It's always cool to be recognized for all your hard work. I was nominated for an Emmy in 2000, for my camera-work and for producing a sports piece (it was the NY Metro region). I was beat out though, but as they say, it was cool to be nominated! Maury Povich was the award banquet host!

DH is the director of photography and one of the producers for the Ravens shows. He was DP for the PSA.
