DH made the Itinerary Spreadsheet!!

And its beautiful! All our days listed with who has what EMH at the top. Then he put a timeline on the side and color coded our "special events" (like wishes, fantasmic) and ADRS to corrospond with the parks. He even put the pool morning we've decided to do and my DTD shopping!!

And to think, two years ago he poo-poo'ed Disney for our Honeymoon.

Whew! I'm not the only one who makes a spreadsheet. Did one for our Sept. 2007 trip, and it worked so well we're doing another for December 2008.

We're doing a grand gathering this time around, and I'm thinking that we would have absolute chaos without the sheet!!!

heck no you aren't crazy for making one!! There are lots of DISers who do notecards with their ADRs and Itineraries then laminate them. I think we are in the stone ages in comparison!

The planning has only just begun when the spreadsheet gets broken out. I will sit there and stare at the one I have done just dreaming about what each day will bring. I cannot wait for August to get here!!!

August? I'm jealous! October for me. I just got the new planning dvd in the mail two days ago... so far, I've watched it four times. Between that and tweeking the spreadsheet, I should be in planning heaven!

my dh thinks i am sick!!! finding this chat board has been bad i have offically became an addict from this board. lol I am so jealous reading about some of the awesome trips you have all taken.

In all my trips; with all my note cards, little packets, highlighters, passporters, I have never thought to do a spreadsheet....what an incredible idea...I am going to start on mine for our March trip....oooo my husband is going to roll his eyes when he sees this!! Thanks.

We've done a Powerpoint calendar every trip after the first one (which we did flying by the seat of our pants, for 7 days in the second week of december... we got lucky, it wasn't so bad.. but we vowed to plan plan plan every future trip!)

We were so ready when free dining came out this year!! I could have just kicked myself for not doing the bounceback last year.. but we got what we wanted anyway as I called right away that morning.

Now I just look at the calendar and am dying to find something else to tweak on it!

OMG, i think we are living parallel lives! I'm completely addicted to the DIS, too, and cannot pull myself away! DH thinks I'm completely nuts.

Last year I did a spreadsheet for the first time with all the park hours, EMH and times, and then was teased to no end about it. I made the mistake of saying it would be such a valuable tool for us for the trip, and there were ceaseless jokes about the infamous "tool" I'd created! But nonetheless I have vowed to make another "tool" for this year's trip, which will be an even more complex spreadsheet as we will have to keep track of a ton of ADRs with free dining.
