DH is back!

Stephen took a whirlwind, 1700 mile, four day motorcycle trip to Montana/Yellowstone this weekend. I missed him alot. He loved it so much he says we are going next year in the car so we can spend more time. Also, we won't have to worry about rain in the car. Don't flame me, but I'm not really looking forward to it. I've been to Yellowstone so many times I've lost count. It's pretty, but I'd rather go to the ocean. But, we'll have fun since we'll be together, so I guess I should start planning. He leaves again August 9-11 to bring Sarah home from Oregon. He doesn't usually travel this much, just a weird summer. I did well though. I cleaned, went to the mall, read a couple of books, worked in the yard. I did not allow myself to wallow in self-pity the whole time, which is a big step for me. Thanks to everyone for helping me make it through a very long weekend.

Kelli, I've never been to Yellowstone. My SO wants to go there, but like you, I'd rather go to the ocean (I love water).

Congrats on making it thru this time. I know you have a fear of being alone (and from what you said of your past, I can understand that fear, {{hugs}} ).

Glad to hear that your DH is back safely! I would love to go to Yellowstone again...I think we went like 27 years ago..
Hope to go in 5 or 6 years...

I'm glad he's back, and yes, Shannon, the only thing that makes me look forward to the trip next year is that I am going and not home alone. Shep, I hope your kids get to see it. I really like it, and think everyone should see it once. I have just seen it so much, and I am not the "outdoors" type. But, seeing it through Stephen's eyes will make it new again. I figure I drag him to WDW every year and he never complains (but, who would?), I can at least go to Yellowstone with him and enjoy it. The good thing is he promised a night in Jackson. Now I love that place! It holds a lot of good memories!
