and thought maybe Bermuda. This is soon, October 23-26, we have NOTHING planned! We have never been to an island as a vacation, I know, shame on us!

Our second thought was to go to Disney for the 3 nights. Not sure! We know Disney and are comfortable there, but Bermuda looks beautiful.

We are in New England, and are looking for a place that is warmer than here

So, if you've been to Bermuda, where did you stay, did you like it, what is the food like? What do you DO all day?

Bermuda is beautiful, but expensive. I live outside of NYC in Northern NJ (which is expensive) but Bermuda is even more expensive than here. On a positive note, you can get there quickly - it a 2 hour plane ride from the east coast. Golfing, sandy pink beaches, great restaurants, Bermuda has it all!

Those dates are still prime hurricane season. I think I would prefer Orlando. Bermuda always seems to have a big old bulls-eye on it for hurricanes.

For just a couple nights for a couple's getaway I would choose Bermuda. The point of going there is precisely NOT to do much all day. Besides spend quality time with your spouse and listen to the waves and have food and drinks delivered to you at your beach lounge chair. The days will fly by and even if it's expensive there if it's only for a few days then maybe it wouldn't be so bad.

I'm not sure about the hurricane thing though - do they have forecasts at this point for that timeframe? they might .. . .
