Developer Points and AKL Points ?

I bought 100 AKL points - March Use Year. I took the 100 developer points option. I am closing on April 26.

Could I use my developer points AND borrow my AKL points to make a 200 point reservation at the VWL this July? Could I do this as soon as I am in the system with these new points?

I know I can use my developer points as soon as I close, but I'm not clear on exactly what I can do with the AKL points, if I'm not trying to use them at AKL this year.

You can't use your 2007 AKL points for a ressie before your building opens...for me that's September, we bought in February. No one's AKV's building/unit is opening before September.

Yep, just bit the bullet and called MS (only on hold 9 minutes!) and they said the same thing. I was confused because someone else said on a thread they used AKL points for a stay last weekend, I think. Wonder how that got by??
