developer point reservation

Wanted to let everyone know who is using developer points to be used at SSR (because of AKL purchase) - I made a reservation last week for a stay at SSR using my developer points and they are already showing in my account. So, they must be caught up with entering reservations using those points.
It didn't take long at all!

That surprises me - developer reservations have not been showing up online and I don't believe that the developer points have been showing up in your online account either.

Are you sure that MS used developer points for your reservation? If so, then that's good news. The computer software must have been updated.

I'm pretty sure it's developer points since that is really all that is available to me. I 'm not allowed to use my regular points until after May 09.

I was given 160 developer points and 160 user year points that can't be used until May 09.

I just started using my AKV developer points (that can be used at any resort, not just SSR, because I purchased from Doorway to Dreams at end of March before they changed the incentive),

and when I called they immediately put the developer points in my account. It took about 10 minutes on hold.

I asked when did this start, and they said they just started 2 days ago, that when people call in to use their developer points, they are going to move them into their account.

I think this is a big improvement. Oh, and when I finish my reservation, I'll then get it in the mail a week to 10 days later, instead of having to wait weeks for the confirmation.

Yea to MS!

I agree - wonderful improvement! Should cut down enormously on the calls to MS.
