Not sure this is the right place but I figured someone here may know or direct me to the right place.

I have psarosis on my shoulders and back. On of the major aggrivants are certain laundry detergants. I was away on a a business trip this week and found myself very uncomfortable and my skin very upset.

I am wondering if there is anything I can request in advance? I would prefer not to bring my own towels and sheets but am stating to think this may be my best option.

Any suggestions or expierances may help?

I believe I have read that they can provide special linens upon request. I am giving you a link which is on the WDW site and provides a number to call about this. Good luck, I also have lots of topical allergies. Might I suggest you take a light weight long sleeved T-shirt and long pj pants to sleep in to reduce your exposure when ever you sleep in a hotel. I also take all my own soaps and shampoos. It is a pain in the heiny but necessary.

I am allergic to parabens adn lanolin and every type of detergent except for 1 kind so i always bring a set of sheets, a blanket, and towels with me as well as shampoo, conditioner, and soap whenever i will be staying at a hotel or even at someone elses house......when i started doing this is was such a pain but it is now part of my rountine packing for every trip (but it does take up a lot of space)
I wouldnt trust asking for special linens b/c i NEED to know what i am sleeping on adn it sounds like you do too

Thanks. I always bring my shamppo and soap but the sheets and towels is something I never thought about. I guess I will have a few more things to pack.

There was a thread on here a few weeks ago about WDW resorts being able to make beds with linens washed in baking soda - would that be OK for your allergy?

And somewhere online there's a sleepsack you can buy that packs up nice and small, but covers half of a double bed. Thinking it's like a sheet folded in half?

Disney Special Needs/Requests can arrange for linens to be chemical free. :) You can go through the website or call and request for special needs to add this to your reservation - they will discuss your needs and take care of it for you. :)

Be sure to double check when you check-in!

Hope this helps. :)

Thanks. That would probably be the best option otherwise i may have to do my own laundry later on which is a risk.
