Destin locals??

Heading to Sandestin in the morning for 3 nights/4 days. Where do you locals eat at for say lunch, other than seafood meals? We will be doing seafood for dinner and just whatever for lunch.

McGuire's, right next to the Marler bridge in Destin. I've never left there hungry. Best hamburgers I've ever had, anywhere, any time. Very fun vibe, too.

McGuire's Irish Pub is legendary and a must see place.

Known for their Senate Bean soup for just pennies. It is good.

I ordered that, which is a meal itself and their cottage pie.

They have a good variety. Look up their menu.

My 2 top picks are:
The Donut Hole (on Harbor). ALWAYS crowded, ALWAYS a line. Well worth the wait. Small parking lot.
The Back Porch
Mimmo's Ristorante Italian: Need reservation. In a strip mall.
Dewey Destins Seafood Restaurant: Small parking lot. Difficult to find a spot.
McGuire's: I think it's more for tourists. Very crowded. And again, parking is horrible.

Back Porch is good. Killer beach views. We also like AJ's. Best views for the very busy harbor.
