Anyone know if it's possible (and how much it costs) to get heat lamps for a dessert party? We're potentially getting married next December and I'm pretty set on having a dessert party. The weather on December evenings can be unpredictable so I wanted to see my options before instructing everyone to bring a jacket! :upsidedow

I asked my coordinator about this when I was thinking of holding an outdoor venue. I changed my mind and moved to an indoor location when she said they could add heat lamps if it's cold, but they don't do much.

I was told the same thing. We are having a welcome dinner on December 1st at EPCOT. We decided against the heaters as well and are going to take our chances. If it drops below 50 then they move us to an indoor location for dinner and then bring us outside for desserts to watch the fireworks.

We had our wedding this past December and our dessert party was at Sago Cay. It was going to be pretty cold that evening and our planner told us during our reception that they were moving our dessert part into the Whitehall room and then we all moved out to Sago Cay for the fireworks part. It all worked out very well. :goodvibes
