Dessert at Table service on dining plan

I was just wondering, for dessert, can my husband I order whatever is on the dessert menu, or is there a choice that they give us that they decide????

Like, we have Tony's Restaurant booked at MK...can we order any dessert off of the menu for our dessert???

Yes you can usually order anything off the dessert menu with the exception of desserts that are labelled 'to share' and meant for 2 or more.

You can order any dessert off the menu, with the possible exception of "dessert samplers" which are meant to serve more than one person.

Some restaurants may permit two DDP diners to order a dessert sampler, and some may exclude the samplers from DDP altogether.

I may be imagining things lol but I could have sworn in August 2006 with the free dining plan we were not allowed to order individual desserts at Tony's....they brought out a platter with various pastries (including cannoli) for the table...

we just ate at Tony's on May 9th...and we were able to order whichever individual dessert we wanted... YUM! lol

I remember people reporting that in 2006, but I don't recall any such reports from 2007. May be it was unpopular (it would have annoyed me) so they didn't repeat it?
