Most new attractions at the resort aim for May, but it hasn't been confirmed just yet.

The ride is set to be a 3D simulator.

Yes, they are replacing the Jimmy Neutron attraction with Despicable Me. It will be utilizing the same ride system, but be in 3D. I'm not sure the outside of the building will look all that different or not, but I hope it does.

I remember reading the storyline is that Gru and his adopted daughters are moving their evil lair to Universal. They'll be turning the audience into Minions.

DS LOVES Dispicable Me.

This ride bumped me over the fence into planning a few days' visit prior to our Disney cruise in August 2012. Oh, this and Harry Potter since our last visit to US/IOA was in August of 2008. We'll see if anything will topple MIB from our "Most Favorite Ride At US/IOA" distinction.
