Yup! I finally got to get on the computer this morning. I am packing because I am going away for a horse show tomorrow until Sun! I wont be able to get on again until tonight and then I am gone until Sun night...'

My senior prom was 1980, and I also wore a Gunne Sax dress. That year the 3 most popular girls wore Tuxes to the prom, they looked very cute. Most of the dresses were either like mine or black cocktail wear.

19986 prom-went all out. Royal blue satin double ruffle skirt with the top layer pulled up in places by satin flowers and trimmed in pearls. top was off the shoulders with the same flowers and pearls. full crinoline underneath. I saw how much trouble my friends had with the hoop skirts the yr before.

Also 1986 same dress but in red and white. I looked like Little Bo Peep puked me out. I wish I could find a picture.

1987 black and white satin, strapless black on top, black on bottom with a very full skirt. I made my date wear a tux with black pants and a white dinner jacket. We looked like a giant "X" standing next to each other.

Does anyone know where I can find a 80's prom dress in a size 18? I am doing a production of Awesome 80's prom next weekend and I cant find a dress that will fit me anywhere. I have tried Ebay, freecycle, craigslist, all my local thrift stores, called all of my relatives...I am getting desperate..!

It is supposed to be taffeta and fun....anyone know of an online store where I can buy one that wont cost me a fortune?

There have been a couple of new posters spamming the boards with posts about dresses--the college board had something like 15 weird threads about wedding dresses and prom dresses. The mods removed them but it looks like the person has signed up under a different name and continued dress-spamming.
