I am really hoping that someone here can help me. I would love to do reviews for Expotv but I am having trouble uploading them. I am filming with a Kodak Easyshare camera. When I try to load the video into Windows Movie Maker to "shrink" it for uploading, it will not accept my file extension. All my videos end on .MOV. I have researched it online and cannot figure out how to change the file extension to something that WMM with take. How do I do this or is there another way to get them directly to Expotv without using WMM. Thanks so much!!!!!!:teacher:

I am really not very savvy when it comes to these things, but I have been doing expo since July of 2007 and have learned a few things from that.

I upload from several different pieces of equipment. Not all of the equipment is able to be edited through Movie Maker. For those that are not compatible with movie maker, I just download the file to my computer and then upload the file to expo directly from there. It isn't the cleanest review I have done in terms of editing to cut off the beginning and end (where I am turning on and off the camera) but it works.

Hope that helps!:thumbsup2

So when you upload it to your computer, where does it go? I have the Kodak software and could use that but I don't know how to "shrink" it down to the size Expo needs. Kodak software doesn't give me that option. So what program do you use to do that? Thanks for your help!!

I don't shrink it. I save to my computer, the video right along w/the pics on my SD card. The size must be OK without shrinking because they have all been approved by expo. Not sure how you would go about shrinking......:confused3

OK. Well thanks. My video was about 5 minutes long. Maybe I'll just try making it shorter and see if it will upload. When I tried it without using WMM, it said the file was too large (over 75 something?). Maybe I just talked too long!:rotfl: How long are your videos for the most part? I really need to figure this out

Sorry I wasn't much help. Like I said I am not too savvy with those things.

My videos run from 1-2 mins, rarely over 2 mins.

Good luck!

I just wanted to say thank you again! I just uploaded 3 videos and they all went through fine. I had to change the setting on my camera. Thanks again!!!!
