Desparately seeking discounts

We head to Florida in mid-December. I've been signed up for the Mousesaver's newsletter for weeks, hoping to get the newsletter today to see if there is a better discount on a one day basic ticket to IOA. Has anyone received the November newsletter yet?

You aren't going to find many discounts for one day tickets to Disney or Universal. If you've found something, I suggest you take it.

One day tickets to ANY of the Orlando themeparks are rarely discounted ,so if you find a discount, I suggest you take it

Is this pretty true for slow seasons like late January?

the post you quoted was about it being rare for one day tickets to be discounted.

if you are asking that the slower seasons might have one day tickets being discounted, they do not.

the only discounted tickets i have ever read about are the time share tours.
when you take a time share in orlando, you can receive a gift.
sometimes it will be park tickets.

the only time i did a time share tour was back in 1994 as the gift was UO ticket. they weren't entirely free as we had to pay a portion to the time share to get the 'free one day ticket'.

my cost was an additional $15 per ticket to the time share group for the free ticket.

if you do come across a discount for a one day disney or universal ticket, and the seller is an authorized seller of park tickets, snatch it up.

we don't read of peeps finding the discounts for those park tickets.

Thanks! I actually just started another thread (tried searching but couldn't find the answer) that you could probably answer -

Does the FL resident discount not apply to the 1-day ticket? I just checked the US website and the prices were the same whether I clicked on the FL resident option or non-FL resident option.

Again, thanks for info!

you would get the answer to your question of "do floridians get discounts on one day tickets" by calling or emailing guest services.
do include your phone number with your correspondence as sometimes you are called with the answer.

other than that, i don't know what else to suggest.
