the post you quoted was about it being rare for one day tickets to be discounted.
if you are asking that the slower seasons might have one day tickets being discounted, they do not.
the only discounted tickets i have ever read about are the time share tours.
when you take a time share in orlando, you can receive a gift.
sometimes it will be park tickets.
the only time i did a time share tour was back in 1994 as the gift was UO ticket. they weren't entirely free as we had to pay a portion to the time share to get the 'free one day ticket'.
my cost was an additional $15 per ticket to the time share group for the free ticket.
if you do come across a discount for a one day disney or universal ticket, and the seller is an authorized seller of park tickets, snatch it up.
we don't read of peeps finding the discounts for those park tickets.
