Our trip last year was in June, and we caught quite a bit of rain. For the most part, you were able to work around it (jump into a show building, hang out in a gift shop, etc). It did a really nice job of clearing out the parks, and it did cool things down for a while. Everyone is right though, the forecasts change so quickly in FL!
Our 2nd night in town, however, had us catching the edge of a tropical storm. I have NEVER seen so much rain before! It was our Epcot day, and it was really rough. Standing water on all the walkways, completely soaked through everything. Ponchos didn't really help at all, because you were just hot and gross under them
We did end up leaving the parks early that day, and hung out in the hotel. It eventually cleared up enough for our dinner ADR, and Illuminations went on that night. That was really the only bummer moment of an otherwise pretty great trip!
