Deposit question....

We are scheduled to stay at POFQ starting Oct.2-6. I put a deposit down of one night on cc and rest is due at check in. What happens to deposit if we wind up staying somewhere else on a friends DVC points? Thanks.

You need to cancel at least 5 days out in order to get your deposit back. So you would lose it. Sorry!
