My daughter has been using the largest goodnites and is now just about to size out of them. I have no idea which size I should buy in the depends. She currently wears a ladies size 10 if that helps. Can anyone tell me which size I should buy?

I would also guess a S/M.
I have seen them at the hospital where I work and would kind of warn you that they are considerably larger than the largest size of Goodnights.
I know people who have gotten samples of the product, which helped them to choose the correct size. Try googling "Depends+sample".

Dealing with protective undergarments is not always easy. Goodnites and Depends are available at your local store, but do not always provide the best protection. They are often much more expensive then some of the other choices out there. You might want to look around at some of the other choices. There are even a few places (like HDIS) that have sample packs with a variety of different products for you to try before deciding on what brand you and/or your daughter likes.

Below are a few places to check out:

Disposible Medical Express (DME)
www.disposablemedicalexpress.com

National Incontinence
www.nationalincontinence.com

Northshore Care Supply
www.northshorecare.com

Home Delivery Incontinence Supplies (HDIS)
www.hdis.com

Prices can vary dematically between different retailers on these products, even for the same item. These are the sites I have used the most over the last few years, but each time I order I check the various sites for the best price.

I never have liked HDIS's web site, but they have some of the best customer service. Call their toll free number and ask them the questions you have about finding the right size and they will help you. They know their products and have been in the mail order business for this type of product for over 20 years (started before the internet and were slow to pick up the internet for sales), I think they like the personal touch that a phone call can provide for these type of products.

I pay about $1 per depends if I buy on sale and they are $16 for 14 diapers. I had a lot of trouble with the HDIS site and like omg $22 for 14 diapers is ridiculous at the other sites. Even in the case I could buy them here off the shelf for the same price.

Mom likes Depends and only Depends as they fit better than the store brand. Did I mention that she is hyper sensitive.

Thanks for the links and at least now I know that I will be buying another 10 bag of diapers until I can find some place that sells them for $13 each including tax and shipping. $150 a month average and more than once I have had no money for the first few days of the month as that is all I bought because it is on sale out of my first check on the first of the month.

Mechurchlady is correct that a lot of times the internet companies are not less expensive. Their advantage is that they will bill insurance and that they deliver. That can be more important than price for someone who can't get out of the house. They also may have more of a choice of products available than your local store would have, and as was already mentioned, many have trial packs where they will send a variety of products, so you can see what is available and what may work best.
I would not say they are more protective than Depends* or Goodnights, but if someone doesn't like those products, there are more choices out there. The disadvantage with ordering from the internet is that you need to keep track of your 'inventory' to make sure you don't run out before more is delivered.

Goodnights are a good choice for a small person - many of the other products you can find are 'show' under clothing much more, which might be a big disadvantage for some people. Until Goodnights came along, there was a big gap in products. Once a child outgrew regular baby/toddler diapers or pullups, all that was available were adult size products. Most of those are sized for adults and didn't really fit older children or young adults without a lot of bunching. If you want a pull up type product rather than a flat diaper, there are pull up type products that also have re-fastenable tabs that can be used to make them fit tighter.

*Depends has many different products - some are meant for light protection and some for maximal protection. Here's a link to their website so you can see. They also have a 'try the product' offer where you can get samples.

If you choose to use Depends, check on some of the 'deals' websites, like www.slickdeals.com
My sister uses slickdeals a lot for different things and prints out coupons for incontinence products for some of her clients (she is a home care nurse).
The Budget Board would probably have suggestions for other similar websites where you can get coupons and trials of items.

Thank you to everyone for your responses. I didn't realize there were so many options and I guess I should have been looking sooner.

I had no idea you could even get samples of some of the products. I'll definitely look into that since finding something my daughter will like may take some effort. She has sensitivity issues with tags, seams, etc.

Honestly I thought my biggest difficulty would be in that the new product wouldn't have the "designs" like the pullups/goodnites. When she sized out of pullups several years ago and I had to go to the goodnites, she was really upset because the goodnites were plain white. The only way I could get her to wear them was to design them myself. I had to buy several colored ink stamp pads and different stamps and stamp designs on them, but it worked.

Anyway, I'll check around using the info you all provided and see which she likes best. Thank you all so much!!

http://slickdeals.net/ is probably what Sue meant. She is right about having stock as I get a lot of meltdowns and hissy fits and scolding and turtleshelling and stuff if we are almost out of her diapers.

I use a compnay called Woodbury product to buy adult size diapers for my DD. They are really great with sending out samples and helping with sizing. My DD is using an adults medium size and I buy them buy the case a case of 96 cost 59.93. I usually order a months supply at a time . Last time I placed an order they had a special is you bought so much you save 10%.
