Departure Time for Central London to Dover Cruise Port Transfer

We’ve booked the DCL transfer from the London Doubletree by Hilton to the Dover Cruise Port for the Norwegian Fjords cruise departing on September 4th. This was reflected in our online checkin early this morning, since we were given an 11 am PAT with boarding group 2 without having to make any selection. Does anyone have reliable information about departure time from the Doubletree. We will be staying at a different hotel and taking a London cab to the Doubletree to catch the bus to the port. The cast member who processed the addition of the transfers to our reservation did not have any information. I see that the Magic does not arrive in Dover from Copenhagen until August 28th, so we may have to wait until cruisers start making the London-Dover trip at that time to get details. Thanks.

We did the transfer from the Doubletree to Dover prior to our westbound TA in 2019. We were platinum and sailing in concierge so planned to arrive relatively early to the port but no assigned PAT. We were staying at a different hotel and had to transport over to the Doubletree to check in for, and catch the shuttle. The transfers were prearranged.

We checked in and were sent to a ballroom to wait with others. They started to load the busses by calling groups. I am not exactly sure what the criteria was for the bus assignment. I think we were on the third bus. My assumption was the folks with earlier PAT, or no PAT assigned would be earlier but not sure that was really followed. Not sure of exact times, but based on some pics - drive takes about 2 hours, departed 10:45/11:00 ish and were sitting down to lunch on the ship at 2pm.

Sorry that doesn’t give very many specifics, but might help with expected times.

Do the bags go on the same bus as you or do they have a separate truck to take it. We are using the Doubletree Hilton Victoria station as a DCL pickup which I am assuming is the the hotel the OP is speaking of.

Separate truck. Just received an email from DCL regarding our transfer for our cruise that departs this coming Sunday. Departures from the Doubletree Hilton at 8:45 and 9:30 am. Luggage with DCL tags affixed will be collected from passengers as they arrive at the Doubletree and placed on a truck for transport to the port and then transferred to staterooms.
