Departure Question

My son is scheduled to leave in mid May. He has a specific date.
If he's off from work the day or two before his departure date, is he free to leave then? Or is it a requirement that the CP'ers leave ON their departure date, and are there any scheduled things they must attend on or before that date?

If he is not scheduled to work, he is more than welcome to leave prior to the formal departure date. Disney Housing will go over the proper procedures as to what needs to be turned in to who at that time.

My departure date was Friday, January 7th. I was not scheduled on the 6th and off at 3 PM on the 5th. Because I only live 3 hours away, I was home on the 5th.

I went by the clubhouse at Patterson (where I lived) and they gave me an envelope to put my housing ID, apartment key and parking decal in. If I was leaving after they were closed, security could take it on my way out.
