...are these rooms ever discounted? Either eligible for AAA, AP, or general public discount code?

I suspect they aren't as they book up REALLY fast without a discount.

Yes, I have seen them show up under AP discounts. I noticed that starting last year a lot of concierge and suite rooms were showing up for AP and Florida Resident discounts, as well as DVC rooms. They're trying to get us hooked on the really pricey rooms!

We stayed last year in WL Jr. Suite with AP discount, so yes it happens. Plus we stay concierge a lot and we have always stayed with an AP discount. Good Luck!

Would you mind sharing the rate you received? I am open to purchasing an AP if a discounted rate is possible. What I am going to do is book the room WAY early (like, very soon for May 2009) and then if an AP rate comes out, apply it as soon as I hear about it, for the best chance of getting it, then I'll buy an AP closer to the trip.
