Deluxe late hours thread

Do the booths for the Food & Wine Festival stay open for the late hours, e.g., all the way until midnight? Thanks!
No idea for this year, but in the past when EPCOT stayed open after Illuminations, the booths were closed.
Also during a DVC event all the booths were closed except ones that had food for that event.

I suspect AK wasn't added as the animals are put back in pens at night. they also may have a lot of maintenance to do over night.
No good reason HS wasn't unless they do something with the Star Wars Resort in the park at night, but haven't seen that in their itinerary.
In the end, I think Disney saw this as a token attempt to get more people to stay at the deluxe resorts.
Your AK and HS ideas could be right...but your final point is 100% on the "money".

It's lazy.

They had no problems offering after hours at AK that were 3 hrs long.
Didn't remember that, but haven't done any of the after hours parties either.
Given that, then the reason is they don't want to/don't need to.

I also see it as saving money. If they did all parks, you are paying employees in those parks. AK use to say they would close at 5 pm due to the animals, then when we could pay for the extra nighttime hours, that tune changed and they were open sometimes I think until 10-11 pm.

I'm hoping they plan on offering After Hours again at AK and HS. They were amazing. I booked them anytime they were available.

thats true, but this time, only a much smaller crowd can be in the park then with EMH. However, I doubt it will be open, but can always hope.
I just came across a story from Disneyland that they are opening up their Spiderman ride to a standby line for their Halloween party. Spiderman is the second ride with a Virtual Queue at DL.

Not saying that this will definitely happen with Remy, but maybe a good sign. Obviously both locations are treated very differently, but cool to see a precedent for the possibility.

We don't go to disney often and i booked the Dolphin specifically for the EMH. I view it as a way to bake in less rush into our vacation. These parks will be available late to us so we can either go early, back to the room for a nap and back to enjoy EMH OR take a lazy relaxed approach to the day and not arrive until later since we'll be able to enjoy late into the evening.

If there were not at least 2 consecutive EMH evenings I would be enjoying rides late into one evening only to have to get up early for rides the next morning!

With the latest addition of dates, extended hours are officially being offered for the first Big Holiday week (Thanksgiving). I had wondered if they would, since they traditionally offer late park hours all week that week.

This is mostly good news for us, as I had moved us to the Dolphin for that Wednesday (our last night). But it does mean MK is closing pretty early for most of Thanksgiving week - which would make me really unhappy if I had not snagged the split stay. Closing early for parties on Sunday and Tuesday, and only Deluxe resort guests get to stay late on Wednesday.

The current hours are just place holders. I’d be shocked if they are not extended for that week.

I have a weekend booked at BWI Thursday to Monday. Does that mean I will miss both deluxe after hours MK Monday and Epcot Wednesday?

If you’re still in Orlando Monday night and have a ticket, you could go to MK. You’re considered a resort guest until midnight the day you check out.

You've got them reversed, but like the poster above said, you could take advantage of the EP hours on Monday, if you're still in town...

But more than likely, yes, based on their schedule, those with travel days (on more expensive) weekends, will miss them both.

Does anyone remember where, if anywhere you could get a snack or QS food during evening EMH before?

How does this work if you have an AP and staying in DVC. I know I am able to attend but if I don't go to a park the day of the extra night hours, what do I do and how do I book this so I can get in.

Thank you.
