Deluxe and FP

I think deluxe guests should get to book fp 75 days out and moderate 65 etc.. And tiered extra magic hours

They don't offer more fps because then that's just separating guests by price points. They already have tours and VIP experiences within the parks you can pay extra for.

Your hotel level price is not in correlation with your FP's. You're paying to stay at a higher end hotel and some with monorail access. Same reason outside of Disney you'd want to pick to stay at the Hilton instead of motel 6.

I don't think Disney should offer more fps to higher end resort guests or more time in advance to book. However I do think that Disney should allow AP holders to book more than 30 days out even if staying offsite.

Why don't guests staying in the deluxe resort to get some other benefits like more fast passes or something or extra magic hours just for them ....some of us are paying at least $6,000 more than those staying in the value resorts
You are fixated on cost and cost alone. If you feel uncomfortable with the price difference you are free to stay where that doesn't bother you as much.

You are also free to stay at POP and spend all the $$ you want to on dessert parties, Tiana's Riverboat Party, VIP tours, dining packages like Fantasmic!, dining plan, hard ticket events like the Halloween party or the Christmas party, add-ons such as Early Morning Magic (EMM) and Disney After Hours (DAH) if they are available during your trip, Food and Wine or Flower and Garden Festival offerings, etc.

It's been said as well that eventually Disney would away from Value, Moderate, Deluxe and instead go more for locational areas for their categories.

Look at the date..that was like ten years ago. I just booked the poly for this April and it was over 6k more than pricing out pop

Pop and Poly are apples and oranges. You are paying more for a more luxurious resort and all the bells and whistles that come with it. If you would rather have faster access to rides and shows in the parks, book Pop and book a VIP tour. I really don't understand your post. The higher cost of the resort is due to resort amenities. If you are unhappy with the cost and what comes with it, book elsewhere.

if you pay to stay deluxe, you get the "deluxe" resort perks. that's what you're paying the premium for. Your park tickets, presumably, cost the same as those for guests at moderates or values. You *can* pay to have perks at the parks (like a VIP tour, for example) but you can do that o matter where you stay.

Why would Disney offer these perks up to people already packing their deluxe hotels? They would just be throwing away potential profits. Instead, they could sell a special ticket where you can book fastpasses earlier. "Mickey's fastpass magic" just $99 per ticket! Book 75 days out. Or "Mickey's super, duper fastpass magic;" book 100 days out for $150! or "bounceback fastpass;" 365 days out for $199.

I got a house from my parents. They paid for my house. Should I have asked them for a 2 million dollar one? The answer is no. I am very grateful my parents gave me a house. I am fortunate very fortunate to have parents like that. I stayed at the four seasons hotel my parents paid. We got less time to book then anyone else. Should I complain to my mum the answer is no. I stayed in a wonderful hotel. Be very grateful that you can afford that hotel. Because I went to India and saw people with nothing literally nothing or not much. I am very fortunate that I have a roof over my head. Plenty of food (too much food).

I sometimes get a WDW splurging urge. Then I see some numbers, my mind is boggled, and I say to myself “no <redacted> way. Hello again Pop Century.”

Yep! When I decided to change my cruise to a WDW vacation for Feb break, I initially was staying at AKL. Then I looked at how much time I'd actually be in the resort, ran the numbers, and changed to POFQ. Thought about it, ran the numbers again, and changed to AoA. Thought a little more, talked to a couple of friends, ran the numbers again. Hello Sports!

I would be much happier at a deluxe resort at the end of the day. I want the nicer bed, the balcony, the distance to a park......but why should i be treated less visitor because i am staying at a value resort for my upcoming trip? take out the resort aspect, I am still probably going to spend the same amount of money as i would in a deluxe resort. I am glad you have that kind of money to throw around but not everyone does or wants to but they should still be treated the same. My husband serves this country and he told me to take the kids to disney while he is gone for the next few months. Well if I want to go a few times I can get more trips in staying at a value resort vs staying at a deluxe resort.

We stayed club level at WL for a 5 night stay in May and didn’t even spend $6,000 for the entire trip (including park tickets, food, and travel)!!! So, I’m not sure where the “$6,000 more” is coming from.

Anyway, you’re paying for amenities at your resort. I think it’s fair that all on-property guests get the same park perks.

If you want to pay to stay on property, you get the park perks. If you want to step that up and pay more, you get resort perks. I like this setup and I think it really allows people to customize their vacation to fit their budget. It’s nice that families who save every penny to be able to stay at an All-Star resort can have the same shot at fastpasses as millionaire Joe, whose weeklong stay at the GF is a drop in the bucket.

You aren’t being treated as less of a visitor by staying at a Value Resort. That is the whole point folks are making. Resort choices has nothing to do with the experience in The parks

More people might be willing to stay in the deluxe Resorts if we had extra Parks or even pay more money for the room if we had extra perks

They fill the rooms without the need for extra perks so I don’t see that happening

I agree. I want to stay in a deluxe because of the balcony at the end of the night or first thing in the morning, the location with the parks, the theming, the pools/hottub. I have been eyeing AP discount for my trip next month to see if I can find a great deal for us...but not yet. I don't need extra park perks to get me at a deluxe.
