Delta via KLM

So KLM is undercutting Delta by $150pp on flights we'd like to take (using Delta's planes). Anyone have suggestions on "gotchas"? According to the KLM website, we can pick our seats immediately after booking.

Any suggestions/tips?

International trip, but would require going from my airport -> ATL then international. My local airport isn't international.

There *might* be a difference in MQMs/MQDs, but that's about it. And, normally, booking on KLM you're good with full MQM/MQD as long as part of your route is to Europe (i.e. you have to cross the Atlantic). I often fly some combination fo Delta/KLM/Air France and have never had an issue because of where I bought my ticket.

No gotchas. They are partners. Go with the cheaper price and enter your Delta Skymiles number. You'll be credited with miles.

Years ago we were able to book flights on United through the Air Canada web site and save quite a bit on our trips to MCO compared to the AC fares. After a few years, someone must have noticed and that advantage ended. I'd say go for it.
