Delta flight, but on Freedom Airlines?

This is what our delta flight says... "Operated by Delta Connection Carrier, Freedom Airlines Inc" Would this put our flight at any more or less risk for being cancelled or changed? Or is this really just the same as any other Delta flight. It's on a smaller regional jet. Thanks

It is one of several "feeder" airlines that Delta uses....you still use Delta check in customer service, etc....it is just that the plane is being operated under contract with Delta vs Delta owning the plane.

It will be a small plane (probably a CRJ)....no additional risk of change or cancellation since Delta calls the shots on both of those just watch your flight times....Delta is notorious for changing them every 60 days or so.....you will be fine (unless you happen to hate flying in small planes!!)

In August, I flew a Delta partner from MCO to Columbus, OH. We had no problems (the flight was booked about 2 weeks out, for business). The plane was small, seating about 50 people. Each row had one seat, the asile and then two seats. We walked out on the tarmac to get on - I haven't done that since I went to Puerto Rico back in 1987! The flight was fine, however!

PS: Another weird one - I booked a flight with United back in June for my flight home to PHL. While I booked and paid United for the R/T flight, I am flying Us Air! Weird, huh.

I think most, if not all, of the United flights between Philly and Orlando are operated by US Airways.
