Haha, oh the memories! My first job out of college was a computer programmer for a major airline. I wrote code and we loaded our new programs at 2:30am so if there was a real time issue, there would be minimum effect. If our code had an error, it would knock the entire system down and cost the airline about $100,000 per minute. (this was years ago). One guy in my office knocked it down for one hour. I feel sorry for whomever loaded this one.

I think the problem was a power outage not a code issue. It happened about the same time we had a major storm in Atlanta. Now why they don't have a back up system someplace is beyond me!

Friends of mine were flying (for the first time!)...honeymoon. Flight was supposed to leave at 7. Got out at about 915. So, not too bad. But, she was panicked when she called at 6 this morning! I told her to throw out the "honeymoon/first time flying card" and to remain patient and kind. Must have worked

Another reason to give yourself lots of time when flying to catch a cruise.
