Boston-MCO for Aug, non stop, I have had my flights change 3 times already, they call it "operational change" and change the flight by 5 mins... fine... but they are not reassigning my seats and I have to call everytime! It looks like they have it reassigned them, they see it, but I do not see that on-line, they "push" it through and I see it. OK so after doing this 3 times, the rep asks do you want to talk to reissue as well ??? huh?? so I said yes, seems this dept REISSUES the ticket with the new time and mails me one too... gee so cool huh- talk to two depts to have all that done... DUMB!!!!!! And what about the other times I called, noone mention reissue then! ARGGGG :badpc:

I am done with Delta... they are not gonna make it anyway! :confused3

If you have a flight with Delta- keep checking you itineraries!!!

Usually if i've booked more than 3 months out on any airline I've had minor flight time changes of 5, 10, or 15 minutes. Has more to do with them selling tickets for flights well in advance. A lot of factors can change.

we have a delta flight in August, too. They changed flight times by 5 minutes once, everyone kept their seats, no problems.

Each and every time we've flown Delta they have changed our flights at least three times and I was never notified nor were our seats ever reassigned. I had to call each time have them reassigned.
You must check Delta and check 'em often!!!

We are flying Delta in Oct and have had our departure flight changed twice and our return flight changed once. Both with no notice. Our departure time is now almost 2 hours earlier than it was. Im just glad it fits with our schedule.

Our Delta flight has been changed 3 times- it was departing at 6:05 now it is 8:05- 2 hours later- I am not happy!!! They offered to change it to a 1:30 departure but we wanted a day at disney -hope it hasn't changed anymore- i need to call back!!

Delta isn't the only airline that does this.
Yup; Check every airline. Check every airline. Check every airline.

Airline seat assignments are like hotel requests, but actually even better, since you can do things with airline seat assignments to improve your chances of getting your requests honored.

Last year, American changed mine 5 times, Spirit 4 times, & NorthWest 3 times, just keep checking your airlines. We did improve on all of our flights.
You do your homework, and get great fares, you don't end it there, you need to keep checking till the end.

I agree with bicker, "Check your airlines"

It's not just Delta it's ALL of them

Just wondering if you received paper tickets in the mail after that conversation.

I was just on the phone with Delta dealing with changes they just made on my flight. She mentioned that it was a ticketed reservation and she needed to reissue. I originally ordered these through Orbitz and were given e-ticket #'s. I'm now wondering what she was talking about. Does it matter if I have paper tickets and e-tickets?

Two weeks ago Delta issued me paper receipt? Saying the new times and date for trip...because of a flight being cancelled and changed. Today they just emailed me a new intinerary. Do I take that to the ticket counter, the paper receipt or the first cardboard tickets that were issued to me in the beginning?

My head is spinning with all th changes! :Pinkbounc

They changed my flight times 3 times and each I had to call and have seat re-assigned... they saw them re-assigned but I didn't online until I called to have them do it. Now the last call, the lady asked if I wanted to be transfered to re-issue, I said yes not knowing why- when I talked to her, she emailed me a new itinerary with the new times and the seats... so I would call and ask for "re-issue dept" and tell them you need an email with the changes.
