DELTA CANCELLED ALL NON-STOP FLIGHTS From MCO to WASHINGTON DULLES

We were notified 2 days ago that all NON STOP FLIGHTS out of MCO to Washington Dulles International have been cancelled. They put us on another flight with one connection. So, beware.

We always flew on Delta to Orlando from Dulles and it was always a non stop. However, this past May, Delta did not have any non stop flights so we flew Ted.

TED and AirTran are both doing that route, so I suspect that Delta is simply deploying flights to places it can make money. Bummer to lose one of your options tho, and to have them change your non-stop to a stop over. Yuk! That would be enough to make me get a refund and rebook someone else.

You can also fly SW out of BWI nonstop to Orlando.

We are flying Delta non-stop out of National Airport on Monday. Would have preferred Dulles, but like you said, there were no non-stops. Would National Airport be an option for you?

When we flew in May and could not get a Delta non stop out of Dulles, we looked into flying out of National on Delta. The planes are smaller out of National and I am a white knuckle flier, so we decided on Ted. kparc may want to switch if they do not have the same fear of flying as I do. I personally do not fly out of BWI on Southwest because of living down by Quantico, you never know how the darn 95 traffic is going to be. I do not know why Delta stopped flying no stop, any flight that I was on to MCO was always full and had standby's waiting??????

I've flown the small planes out of National. I loved the flight! Best one I ever had. The weird thing is, you have to use the stairs to get off the plane. They're too small to pull up to a jetway.

A lot of these flights run into DC very early, so I can get off the plane and go to work without having to take an extra day of leave.

Delta, I hear, is in serious financial trouble and the Dulles thing may be a reflection of that.
