Delswife this is your son.......

Welcome! Glad to hear you are no longer stuck in Georgia -- but you must fill us in on what happened with that speeding ticket.

Thank you for protecting our freedom. Hubby was in the AF and did two tours in Vietnam -- know what you go through!

If you ever get stationed with the 174th (Syracuse, NY) we'll make sure you're welcomed here.

Hi, Chris!

I'll add my thanks to you for your service to our country. There are many of us who very much appreciate what you do!

What WERE you thinking driving that fast? And, I agree -- you have to write the part of how and why they let you out of jail. (Banjos in background, lol!)

Call your mom.

Delswife -- I'm mostly a lurker fan, but get to writing, girl! I am addicted, and if I don't get my next installment soon, I'll go buggy. :earseek:

LY, MI!

WELCOME aka CHICK-MAGNET :jester:

We welcome you and we have much knowledge, We are all addicted to your Mom's reports and the saga of your family's journey thru WDW. We also have deep feelings for your Dearest Aunt-in-law:snooty: and WAY COOL Uncle:cool1:

We know you are doing a GREAT JOB for our Country and we are all proud of you, and that you love what your doing....Why else would you have been SPEEDING thru GEORGIA if you didn't love what you do, and just couldn't wait to get back to base so FAST?

Call your Mom, be safe,

Loveya, Mean IT.

 Welcome to the DIS Chris:wave:

Glad to hear you escaped Georgia. Also glad to hear you are a multi-tasker - gasmask and on the computer. Hopefully your mom is just as talented and can get to writing the rest of the trip reports while taking care of Scuba Steve, Commando Nikki, Beatlbum, and Em.:p

In all seriousness, we love your mom's recounting of the family trip to WDW. We can tell how much she really loves each member of her family (SIL not included:smooth: ) We truly appreciate her gift to re-tell a story. We all appreciate your serving your country. Good luck and godspeed on the deployment and a safe return home.

Love ya, mean it!

Hi Chris,
We are another Air Force family (my DH has been in almost 20 years), and we sure appreciate the work you are doing.
God bless you, and welcome to the DIS!

Bet you didn't know that ALL 55,000 of your Mom's closest friends would feel compelled to answer your post to your Mom!! Welcome to the DIS!!

Let me add my thanks to the 54,999 other DIS'ers!! We appreciate what you do for our country.

Welcome to the Dis

Aren't those masks just horrible? It feels like you can't breathe until you get used to them

Hey Chris! I have a sister, btw, that I'm trying to marry off to an AF guy as well. (I married an AF pilot last year.) She's a bit older than you, but... :teeth:

Wobin - I know how you feel. My mom doesn't understand half the stuff I say, either. At least he said deployment and not TDY.

welcome chris!:wave2: your whole family seems to be a hoot! sorry you had to leave the vacation early. have fun in your gas mask! LOL hope to see you soon.

Your mom has helped us know you and your family - and to know you is to love you (except SIL). We're retired USAF (No he doesn't miss the gas mask, the chem suit, recall, tdy's, or any of it but the comradery) and we sure wish you and your fellow airmen well. Take care of yourself, drive slow, and CALL YOUR MOTHER!

Love ya - Mean it!
"Grandma" Linda

Welcome to the DIS Chris!! Loving the trip reports and eagerly awaiting Day 43!! Your mom is a great storyteller!
On our way home to NJ DH got nailed in Georgia too, 85 in a 70. Not excatly the momento we wanted from our trip either.
I'm loving the relationship that you have with your little sister. I will add my thanks too for serving our country proudly.

I am thinking the DisBoard should give your family their own board. I know 55,000 other people would enjoy it!!:teeth:

Hay, Chris--how about a cruise? pirate: Check out the Poll on where you and your family should go next.

You tried drinking threw that straw yet?
Scuba Steve... that must have been nice! The unlucky among us had the M17(A nothing). No cute little straw like the A1. We had to hold our breath, pull the mask off, drink, pull the mask down and go through the whole resealing business. Ahhh... the good old days! :p

Whoops...almost forgot! Welcome aboard Chris! :wave2:

Wouldn't that break the ROEs set in the Geniva (spelling) Convention?
They would probably prefer a nuke... ;)

BTW, Welcome to the boards Chrizzlekinizzle

Chris

Welcome to the DIS.. Your Mom has kept us entertained for a little while.

PS

Can you explain how you got your name
"Chrizzlekinizzle"

Well.......

I haven't got the oppurtunity to read the whole trip yet... i have no idea what happened after i left, but knowing my family, it was probably pretty funny, wish i had been there.

The gas mask was horrible, we had to wear them for 5 hours today, and the straw, although a great IDEA, tastes like 20 years worth of sweat and bad breathe.

Mom is the SIL still the SIL or is she now the XSIL?

my AIM name is chrizzlekinizzle :wave2:

Last but not least, the speeding ticket. let it be known i only was going so fast because i spent as much time as humanly possivle with my family and if in the same situation probably would have done the same thing.....minus the speeding (PS i went 75 miles or so the wrong way :jester: ) The Judge didnt see things they way i did, so instead of the price originally on the ticket ($683) he decided that wasnt good enough.... it was raised to $1000 YIKES!
