All Dell desk tops in this household too (currently 3 of them) and has always been that way - with no issues at all..The product itself is fine in general, but I refuse to purchase one because Dell has one of the WORST Customer Service departments I've ever encountered. I'd rank them below AOL.

So, my bad with that one. My second one a Insprion 9100 lasted 2 1/2 years (with not one drop by me!) and the motherboard went out as well as the monitor. All at once, I don't know what happened. That was right after Christmas and in Jan. I got a Inspiron 6400, so far so good. My dh's best friend's brother works for Dell, so that's why he keeps getting me Dell.
