Love your backpack and I think it is a good idea. I have an older VB (medallion I think) backpack that looks animal kingdom villa ish. Very excited to be toting my new purple punch luggage for my October trip too.

I pulled out the old Pollyanna VHS yesterday and watched it.
I won't say if the boys made fun of me as they each came through at separate times, but they maybe did.

OH I used to watch Casey at the Bat over and over again and I was always hoping the ending would somehow change!!!! I was a huge fan of the Disney Tall tales so I really enjoyed all those shorts!

I was at Wal-Mart today and I saw they had Wind and the Willows and a whole bunch of other older Disney short movies...I will be going back and getting them LOL

Can't wait to see your new hairdo!

I loved all of the Disney shorts, I didn't realize so many of there were Disney though....but I guess I should have known.

I have seen some Disney short dvds and I would really like to get a few. I really want to find some of the old goofy ones that I remember watching.

Boys. Pffft! I finally finished watching Pollyanna last night and cried my eyes out like always. I always wished they had showed more to the ending....

Casey at the Bat! What a classic. I think I always perfered Casey Bats Again as a kid because I think it had a happier ending. Both are great though. Makes me want to watch them again.

Casey Bats Again does have a much happier ending. I found both of them on YouTube and they were decent quality!

I reallly wish Disney would create a classic disney channel and have all those old cartoon shorts, the movies, etc. I have some on DVD and my kids love watching those! Casey at Bat is one of my faves - so is Lambert the Sheepish Lion!

I really wish they would too. Disney has so many extended channels now that you would think they could make a classic channel, that would be the best!

It's time for a "real" update!

I feel like I haven't had much to write about since my park bag search is complete plus I have not been feeling the need to go shoe shopping since I have my sneakers. Or so I thought...

I was in the gnomie chat room on Friday night and as Jen says it is a Cess Pool of Enabling...they enabled me.

I bought Shake N' Bake Sandals!

At least that is what I call them. Paula (ILuvCrush) pointed me in the direction of them. She has read reviews on the DIS and had been looking at them for awhile. You put them in the oven and bake them, then you put them on and they mold to your feet! How cool is that!? She gave me the link and I fell in love. I am a sucker for gimmicks.

I searched the internet for a coupon code and found one and mine are currently making their way to me. I paid $45 with shipping. I hope they fit! I worry about that with my mammoth feet. Bah. I love flip flops and if I can rotate these with my sneakers I think my feet will be super happy in Disney.

I permed my hair this week. Marc's Aunt is a hairdresser and she was able to do it for me for a fraction of the cost at a salon. Yay! She did a great job too. I have always wanted curly hair. I think it looks great and I am loving how little time I have to spend on my hair in the mornings now. I will be super quick getting ready for Disney touring now!

Warning: These are horrible pictures. Marc can not take a picture of me and I lost my patience posing. I think he took about 30 pictures and these are the so so ones.

I've been feeling crafty lately. Mom was going to come help me sew this weekend but she had so much going on that we postponed until another weekend. So I decided to make myself an autograph book. Yay! I feel a bit awkward greeting characters and I think getting an autograph might help me not feel so silly...or heck it may make me feel sillier.

I like the way it turned out!! I'm debating putting some stickers on the blank pages so that characters can sign on the page with their sticker but not sure I want to do that or not. Any other suggestions? I plan on getting a few of those sharpies that click open for them to use.

I also found the perfect Trip Notebook. This little beauty will be perfect for my itinerary, trip notes, and it even has pockets and a zip pouch in the back for me to keep receipts and such! I decorated it as well today.

I'm usually all about the Princess-y stuff but I love how Mickey looks on the cover! I figure I won't fill the notebook this trip, so I may even get two trips out of it!

I'm still perfecting my itinerary. I don't think it's quite right yet. I don't know. I'm wishy washy and fearful I am cutting myself short on Magic Kingdom time. It's a work in progress.

I also bought some double layer socks that help prevent friction. I am not sure how I feel about them yet. I haven't worn them for a walk yet since I just received them but I wore them around the house a bit and they felt WEIRD with the double layers. I'll keep you posted.
